I love these lights, but they didn't work until I changed the batteries. They are pretty pricey to not have new rechargeable batteries in them upon purchase.

We used these on our deck during the 4th of July, they charged rapidly, kept a charge for >8 hours and added so much to our decor. Good length between solar pad and 1st light on string.
