The Motion-Activated Dual-Head LED Security Floodlight is perfect for porches, doorways, or around the house. It has no operating costs and no electrician is needed for installation. The light automatically turns on when motion is detected at night. An adjustable PIR sensor detects motion within 180 degrees and up to 35 feet away. Bright LEDs and a silver reflector create bright illumination in the coverage area. Illumination duration, motion sensitivity, and LUX (daylight sensitivity) are all adjustable.

I keep my trash cans in a dark corner of my back yard and I bought the light to illuminate the area when I’m putting them out at 5 o’clock in the morning. I read the other reviews before buying this light and noted the comments about the low power and the company’s replies saying that it was dependant on where the panel was positioned in relation to the sun. I didn’t worry as I live in Mobile AL and the solar panel would face south. The light provides barely enough illumination not to be useless: I can see the cans and make out the gate, but it doesn’t provide enough illumination for anything else. On the plus side, it was reall easy to install.

Not a bad purchase if you have no electricity available for a hard wired light, or if you want to save electric $$$. Otherwise it's not something I would recommend!

I am recommending this model light to people who have no wiring available to the area you want lit up, and to those who want to save on monthly costs.

Good for immediate area only. Put on building to illuminate pathways nearby. Not enough light to see. Waste of money for what I needed.
It is a stretch to call this a floodlight.
